Make Your Own Resurrection Eggs for Easter

Resurrection eggs have been around for awhile and I simply love them. But making them with your children can be even more meaningful.

What you'll need:
An empty egg carton
A dozen plastic eggs
11 items that signify Jesus' death and rising
Printable verses to be applied and read with each egg
Markers/colors or whatever you want to decorate your resurrection eggs carton

Each egg will represent what happens leading up to Jesus' crucifixion to the last egg which is empty signifying Jesus' empty tomb. Each egg should be numbered from 1-12 to keep it easy and in chronological order. Read each verse that corresponds with egg to tell the story. Your kids will love this...

Cut out the verses. Staple together and keep in the carton for easy reading.

One of them ran up at once, took a sponge, soaked it in cheap wine, put it one the end of a stick; and tried to make Him drink it.
